Meet Little Girl!

Little Girl is the name of our Honda Shadow. She is accompanying us on our trip. We ended up borrowing a trailer from a friend and we weren’t sure if it would work. We tried it today, after clearing yet more brush away. It works, just barely!! She is 8.5′ and the trailer is 8′. We made it work without too much trouble, the only drawback is that it has no cover, so if it rains…. I don’t imagine that it will be easy to drive a 29′ RV with an 8′ trailer behind it (the bracket and hitch adds another foot too). I am willing to try, as long as it’s on I95, 2 lanes and a straight flat line! lol!!

Another change, I took an additional day off at the beginning of the vacation. I really wasn’t excited about Washington DC or NYC on a Friday afternoon and evening. The other reason is I am in a burnout stage at work and need the break. So, now we leave on Tuesday and will hit the bigger cities on Thursday. Just a couple of days closer to the Lobstah and Clams!!! And…we will have some transportation while we are there. Yay!
